I read the other reviews of it leaking, so I kept it in a plastic bag while in my tote, but it never leaked.

My kid can put sunscreen on by herself at summer camps without asking for help. The only downside is that the sponge can get kind of smelly after a while and you have to wash it, which is a little bit tricky. But worth it I think.
